Clear Aligners
Clear Aligners / Invisalign in Jammu
Nearly invisible, removable trays that align your teeth quietly. At work, at weddings, everywhere.
Duration
Typically 12 to 18 months for the cases aligners suit, sometimes less for minor spacing.
Visits
A check-in every 6 to 8 weeks to confirm the trays are tracking as planned.
Clear aligners are a series of custom-moulded, removable plastic trays, each one shifting your teeth slightly further than the last. You wear one for about two weeks before moving to the next, with the whole set planned out at the start of treatment based on a digital scan of your teeth.
Because they're removable, they're the choice most working adults and anyone getting married during treatment ask for first. The catch is that the result depends on how consistently you wear them: aligners left out for meals and photos are fine, aligners left out for entire days are not, and slower progress or a worse result is the direct consequence.
Suits you if
Mild to moderate crowding or spacing, and anyone who wants a treatment that's easy to hide in photos, at work, or at events during the treatment period.
Probably not for you if
Severe crowding, significant rotations, or bite corrections that need real mechanical force. Braces will get there faster and more predictably for those cases, and we'll say so rather than force aligners onto a case they're not built for.
What's included
- Out for meals, out for the wedding photos, back in straight after
- 22 hours a day, every day. The result depends more on you than on us
- No wire to snap the night before an exam or a flight
- Not right for every bite. If braces are the better call, we'll say so
“I got my braces done here, and it genuinely fixed my bite. The whole journey over the past months has been smooth and genuinely worth it.”
Questions about clear aligners
How many hours a day do I need to wear clear aligners?
22 hours. Out for meals and brushing, back in immediately after. Less than that, and the treatment timeline stretches or the fit stops tracking correctly.
Can clear aligners fix an overbite?
Mild to moderate bite issues, yes. For a significant overbite, braces are usually the more reliable option, and we'll tell you which category your case falls into at the consultation.
What happens if I lose a tray?
Call us. Depending on how far along you are, you may be able to move ahead to the next tray in the series or need a replacement made. Either way, don't skip ahead on your own.
